At NWFS, we understand the challenges that come with navigating the complexities of tax filing, especially for individuals and families with limited resources. That's why we are proud to offer our Tax Navigation Program—an initiative dedicated to helping qualifying Oregonians smoothly upload their tax documents into CASH Oregon's virtual tax preparation system. 

Our program goes beyond assisting with tax documents. We are also committed to supporting Oregonians who require an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, helping them overcome barriers and gain access to essential services. Additionally, we strive to provide valuable community education on tax filing and personal finance, empowering individuals with the knowledge to feel confident in managing their finances and making informed decisions for their future.

• Your household income is below $69,000
• You don’t have any of the following:
  • Rental property
  • Adjustments on education expenses (box 4 or 6 of your 1098-T)
  • Sale of cryptocurrency
  • Self-employment income with any of the following:
    • Over $35,000 in expenses, a loss for the year, inventory, employees, depreciation or amortization, or business use of the home.
