Saussha Flint is a Certified Social Work Associate (CSWA) through the State of Oregon and holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) specializing in Clinical Social Work from Portland State University. She is also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor III (CADC III) through the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon.
Saussha has been providing counselling to adults for 10 years and has specialized in helping her clients learn to cope with symptoms of mental health and substance abuse combined (co-occurring or dual-diagnosis treatment). In addition to providing therapy at NWFS, Saussha is currently an Intensive Substance abuse Specialist for Oregon City department of child welfare. Saussha also provides professional supervision for CADC applicants / or level I and II clinicians.
Saussha uses a DBT informed trauma-sensitive approach to building a partnership with clients. With an educational background in clinical social work, Saussha works hard to provide treatment that draws on theory and practice suited to a client's particular needs. People of color and LGBTQ+, are welcomed!
