Each month, we select a prominent local employer to tell their story. Job Seekers from the region are eager to hear from you!
What’s in it for YOU?
Increase Public Relations – Employer Spotlight speakers get to put a very personal face on their company, and increase their visibility to local professionals, Workforce staff, and other local companies.
Lasting Image – Participating businesses can enhance their company image and reputation by connecting with the community.
Future Recruitment – We will be happy to connect you with the WorkSource business team if you want to set up recruitment events– free of charge.
Things we’d like to hear about:
Personal Stories – How have you managed your career to a successful level?
About your Organization – Company culture and values, quick overview of operations and positions.
Hiring Techniques – How do you sort through candidates? What makes someone stand out to you?
Worst Case Job Seeker Stories – What are some things you’ve seen or heard in your position that failed to make a good impression?
Interview Critiques – You may dedicate the last hour of your presentation to mock interview the job seekers, and provide valuable feedback they will use to strengthen their interviewing skills. We will provide the feedback form and each interview will be around 5 min depending of attendance.
