Healthier Oregon Program

Northwest Family Services is proud to participate in the Healthier Oregon initiative, which expands access to full Oregon Health Plan (OHP) benefits for individuals who previously didn’t qualify due to immigration status.

Through this program, our Certified Community Health Workers help eligible community members:

• Understand their rights under Healthier Oregon
• Enroll in full OHP benefits regardless of immigration status or age
• Navigate the health care system and access the services they need
• Connect with culturally responsive care and community resources

Our team provides support in English and Spanish, ensuring each person feels informed, respected, and empowered to take control of their health.

You may qualify for OHP if you:

• Live in Oregon
• Meet income and other eligibility criteria for OHP
• Do not qualify for federal Medicaid due to immigration status
