shelter woman

Los Ninõs Cuentan (LNC) Board of Directors selected Northwest Family Services to manage Casa Esperanza. LNC merged its domestic violence shelter over to the administration of Northwest Family Services in July 2018.

Our shelter is a respite for Latina victims of domestic violence and their minor children. This culturally specific, trauma-informed group home, located in Clackamas County, provides free, temporary housing, case coordination, and advocacy for women affected by domestic violence. Once women enter the shelter, they will work with their advocate to remove any barriers to service, receive recovery support, and develop a plan for their future including assistance as possible with housing, employment, and other needs.

Space is limited. Contact shelter@nwfs.org and you will be contacted within 1 business day to determine availability or learn about other support services.

Ways the community can help:

Money donations to this program are always welcome.

Partial or whole gift cards to local shopping centers like Ross, Target, WinCo can also be used directly for the shelter. These can be dropped off at our main office.
