Youth Housing Demonstration Program (YHDP)

Helping Youth Find Their Way Home

About YHDP

The YHDP is here to help youth from ages 14 to 24 living in Clackamas County who are experiencing or facing homelessness. We understand how challenging it can be for young people to navigate the complexities of housing, especially when facing difficult circumstances.

Through the YHDP, we offer a range of services to support our participants in finding stable housing and other resources to help them succeed. We provide diversion, which helps participants find alternative options to keep them housed and prevent them from entering the system. The program includes case management, peer support, mediationmental health, and work resources; which can help to remove barriers to housing stability.

Since the program's inception in 2020 we have helped over 200 youths and we're proud to say that many of them have found safe and stable housing, as well as jobs and access to medical and mental health services.

We believe that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home, and we're committed to helping young people in Clackamas County achieve that. If you or someone you know could benefit from our services, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're here to help!
