At Northwest Family Services, our deep sense of compassion and resilience guides us. We walk with individuals and families facing trauma, hardship, or generational poverty, and together we envision a brighter future.

In mid-2024, our board, staff, partners, and participants dedicated six months to developing this forward-looking strategy. Now, more than ever, we move ahead with purpose, clarity, and adaptability.

1. Diversify and Reinforce Funding
We will strengthen financial stability by expanding our support base, cultivating new funding channels, deepening engagement with mission-aligned donors, and maintaining financial reserves.

2. Expand Behavioral Health and Prevention
We aim to reinforce the full spectrum of services, from prevention to recovery, ensuring accessible and community-responsive care.

3. Support Staff Wellness and Growth
We are committed to nurturing a thriving team through investments in professional development, leadership, and advocating for living wages and benefits.

4. Intensify Advocacy and Partnerships
We will expand coalitions, enhance public policy engagement, and work with partners to fill gaps and amplify impact across our region.

5. Improve Data and Evaluation
We will build better systems for collecting, analyzing, and sharing data. This will allow us to make informed decisions, strengthen transparency, and deepen program impact.
